Hi and firstly thank you for coming along and giving my blog a visit. lets tell you a little about me.
I’m Libby, a 24 year old mother and wife from a small town in South Yorkshire, England. I’ve been married now a year to my husband Lee, we become a couple when I was just 17 years old and even though it’s had it’s challenges it’s been an amazing 7 years so far and I became a mother and my husband a father on the 30/01/2019 to a beautiful baby girl called Emily. It was the best day of my life. I was born to be her mother.
I’ve been blogging now for about 2 years but my journey blogging started with a recipe blog, sharing every day recipes that were easy to make with easily sourced ingredients. but over the 2 years things in my life have changed (quite a lot) and now blogging is taking a different direction.
As well as being a mother and wife I’m also a carer for a sick/disabled person and this comes with it’s challenges. It’s sometimes frustrating but mostly it’s rewarding knowing your doing your best to make someone’s life easier for them but I will share a dedicated post to this later in the future.
At the time of writing this post I’ve been a mother to our new-born now for just over 4 weeks and it’s honestly the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. it’s hard at times, especially when it’s the middle of the night and Emily won’t settle and all I want to do is sleep. But there is no one I’d rather be tired for. it took us a frustrating 5 ish years to be lucky enough to become parents and I’m thankful every single day for the beautiful gift we’ve being given.
Apart from loving being a wife and mother I love to cook. Granted I don’t get much time these days to cook solely from scratch like I could pre new-born days but I still enjoy being in my kitchen cooking something delicious. I also love a clean house, sometimes borderline OCD don’t get me wrong my house does and can look like a tip at times but having it clean, organised and tidy keeps me calm and stops my brain feeling cluttered. If my home is clean and tidy I’m a happier person all round.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting and I appreciate the support from each and every one of you.
